Eileen Brewer has 20 years of experience in product development at tech companies in Silicon Valley (San Francisco, CA, USA). She has participated in the release of over 100 software or hardware products. Ms Brewer currently holds two roles; she is a Director in product development at Symantec and she is also a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, an angel investing group. She uses her background to support founders locally and throughout the Middle East and Africa. She is passionate about advancing the status of entrepreneurs and to that end she volunteers over 200 hours per year to speak on panels and provide workshops.
Eileen Brewer made a hugely insightful presentation on pitching to raise funds for startups. The Silicon Valley Tech investors gave plenty of undoubtedly instructive tips to our masters students on preparing a 10 Minute Pitch Deck to have the odds of investors signing them cheques on their side. Feminist activists as they are, the two ladies also presented Techwomen, a U.S State Department exchange programme for women. Two Tunisian Techwomen alumni told their own experience with pride and honour.
